Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a historical speech at the World Economic Forum (WEF) Summit in Davos.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi questioned the PM. He wrote, “Dear PM,..Welcome to Switzerland!... Please tell DAVOS why 1% of India’s population gets 73% of its wealth?  I’m attaching a report for your ready reference.” 

Congress leader Manish Tewari also attacked Prime Minister Modi and tweeted out, “Mr PM- I do hope you acknowledge that the UPA with an average of 7.8 % Growth Rate of GDP year on year for 10 long years from 2004 -05 as the base year that corresponds to 9.8% at 2011-12 base year had a role to play in growing it six times.
